With a playoff win on the line, Glenbrook North rose to the challenge on Thursday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Lane Tech Champions. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on six straight.

Lane Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucy Mehlis, who posted nine points. What's more, Mehlis also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Grace Bush, who scored nine points and six rebounds.

Glenbrook North pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points over those games. As for Lane Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 18-13.

As of now, neither Glenbrook North nor Lane Tech have any future games scheduled.
