Soccer Game Preview: Milford vs. Centerville

The Milford Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Centerville Elks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Milford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Oak Hills a 2-0 shutout. The win was all the more spectacular given Milford's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Oak Hills are ranked 16th).

Meanwhile, Centerville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Fairfield on Thursday. Centerville's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Milford's record now sits at 9-5-4. As for Centerville, their record is now 13-3-3.
