Basketball Recap: Hot Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pine Bluff last Friday, Hot Springs came back down to earth. The Hot Springs Trojans were beaten by the Sheridan Yellowjackets 53-18 on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Sheridan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.

Hot Springs has already played their next game (against Benton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sheridan will take on Pine Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sheridan is facing Pine Bluff at the right time seeing as Pine Bluff is stuck on a 21-game losing streak.
