Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport entered their game against Okanogan on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bridgeport Mustangs took a blow against the Okanogan Bulldogs, falling 94-40. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bridgeport's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3. As for Okanogan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Bridgeport is taking a road trip to face off against Lake Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Roosevelt knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Bridgeport likes a good challenge. As for Okanogan, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Colville at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Colville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
