Volleyball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Cordova Lancers

The Antelope Titans will take on the Cordova Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Antelope managed to slip by West Park the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Antelope came up short against West Park on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since February 24th.

Antelope was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made West Park work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Cordova unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Grant by a score of 3-2. While the Lancers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pacers 25-19 in the first set.

Cordova started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-7.

Cordova's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-6. As for Antelope, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
