Volleyball Recap: Clemens Gets the Win

Clemens won the last time they faced Shadow Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Buffaloes won by a set and slipped past the Sharks 2-1.

McKenna Gobin paced Clemens' offense, picking up 12 kills. Gobin got some help from Emily Corkill and her 20 assists. Haiden Wallen and Rebecca Jubela kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Clemens' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Shadow Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Clemens has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Goliad on the 15th. As for Shadow Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Friendswood on the 15th.
