Softball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Christian's last matchup with Northwood could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Rangers, falling 11-1. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Emmanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Northwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian will face off against Toledo Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.73 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northwood, they will challenge Rogers at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
