Volleyball Recap: Pleasanton Takes a Loss

Pleasanton was the 3-2 winner over Ansley/Litchfield when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Brittany Riley paced Pleasanton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Riley got some help from Kaylee Pierce and her 29 assists. Lily Chandler controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Ansley/Litchfield, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Pleasanton has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Axtell on the 14th. As for Ansley/Litchfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Amherst on the 14th.
