Wayne County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 57-53 W against the McCreary Central Raiders. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Raiders are ranked 142nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wayne County's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for McCreary Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15-1.

As of now, neither Wayne County nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
