Volleyball Recap: East vs. Ursuline Fighting Irish
East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Ursuline Fighting Irish, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to East of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Marissa Rapp was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted eight or more in the last 24 games she's played dating back to last season.
East's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Ursuline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.
East will head out to face off against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ursuline, they will welcome Chaney at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
