Marcus Morris Game Report: vs Matanzas

For the first time ever, Marcus Morris turned in triple-digit receiving yards on Friday. He picked up 109 receiving yards, but sadly Deltona still had to take a 40-14 loss at the hands of Matanzas. We rated that as his best performance since August 22nd, when he picked up 80 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Morris and Deltona will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DeLand at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. Morris will face off against Marceles Carey, the Bulldogs' star receiver. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.
