Recap: High Point Eagles vs. Friendly Patriots
Sadly, the High Point Eagles are still looking for their first win of the season after 17 contests. They took a 84-69 bruising from Friendly on Monday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), High Point still had to take the loss.
High Point's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Eze, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eze has scored all season. Kadan Solomonraj was another key contributor, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Friendly's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddox Graham, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Graham hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidon Weber, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
High Point's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Friendly, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
