Softball Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

Northwest hit Hastings with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Saxons lost 13-1 to the Mounties. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saxons of the 19-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Hastings and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Northwest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hastings will venture away from home to face off against Coldwater at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwest, they will head out to square off against Clinton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
