Softball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Daleville Broncos, falling 13-3.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Daleville, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond will square off against Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Daleville, they will take on Tri-Central at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Broncos are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
