Baseball Game Preview: Stuttgart Ricebirds vs. Lonoke Jackrabbits

For the second straight game, Stuttgart will face off against Lonoke. The Ricebirds will head out on the road to face off against the Jackrabbits at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stuttgart's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Lonoke's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Stuttgart had been on a six-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Lonoke put an end to it on Tuesday. The Ricebirds fell just short of the Jackrabbits by a score of 1-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Ricebirds were not able to get on the board.

The win got Lonoke back to even at 10-10. As for Stuttgart, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
