Basketball Game Preview: Michigan Center Cardinals vs. Leslie Blackhawks

Michigan Center is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Leslie is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Michigan Center took their match with ease, bagging a 56-28 win over Napoleon. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Leslie really took it to Manchester for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-12 win. Given the Blackhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Flying Dutchmen are ranked 560th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leslie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for Michigan Center, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.
