After failing to score in their last match, Campo Verde made sure to put some goals up on the board against Mesquite on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Mesquite Wildcats as they made off with a 5-1 win. Considering the Coyotes have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Angel Moreno and Johan Tanzer scored all five of Campo Verde's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Campo Verde is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those 12 matches. As for Mesquite, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coming up, Campo Verde will face off against Catalina Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Catalina Foothills sitting on 16 straight victories and Campo Verde on ten. Mesquite does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
