Basketball Game Preview: Brashear Bulls vs. Riverside Panthers

The Brashear Bulls and the Riverside Panthers will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brashear is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Brashear came up short against Propel Andrew Street and fell 53-41.

Meanwhile, Riverside hadn't done well against Beaver Falls recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Riverside snuck past Beaver Falls with a 55-51 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brashear's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Riverside, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-3.

Brashear came up short against Riverside in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, falling 52-41. Can Brashear avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
