Softball Recap: St. Johns Country Day Comes Up Short

St. Johns Country Day lost against St. Joseph Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. St. Johns Country Day fell just short of St. Joseph Academy by a score of 8-7. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emery Schneider made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Gabi Oceguera, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

St. Johns Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Joseph Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Johns Country Day will challenge Trinity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will square off against Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
