Recap: Westview Knights vs. Desert Edge Scorpions
In what's become a running theme this season, the Westview Knights gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 73-51 margin over Desert Edge. This was payback for Westview, who suffered a 79-44 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Westview to victory were Jhordan Bowls and Maxwell Bynum. Bowls scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Bynum scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakai Jackson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Desert Edge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances.
