With a playoff win on the line, Floyd Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 53-41 win over the Jeffersonville Red Devils. The victory was familiar territory for the Highlanders who have now won six contests in a row.

Jeffersonville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kelis Dansby, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Dansby now owns an excellent 41.4% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Kiya Boatwright, who scored six points.

Floyd Central's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Jeffersonville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Floyd Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-25 victory against Bedford North Lawrence on the 7th. Jeffersonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
