Basketball Recap: Pierz Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Cloud Cathedral, Pierz was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Aitkin Gobblers by a score of 75-67. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Gobblers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Pierz's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for Aitkin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16.

Pierz has already played their next contest, a 79-52 win against Moose Lake/Willow River on the 8th. Aitkin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
