Volleyball Recap: Holy Spirit Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Holy Spirit Catholic was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pickens Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints fell 3-1 to the West Blocton Tigers on Thursday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Holy Spirit Catholic dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for West Blocton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Holy Spirit Catholic will take on Beauregard in a tournament on Saturday. West Blocton will be paying especially close attention to the Saints' game: after the Saints face off against the Hornets, they'll take on West Blocton again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
