Football Recap: Richland Rangers vs. Amite County Trojans
Richland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell to the Amite County Trojans 20-14. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Xzavier Allen had a dynamite game for Amite County, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Richland will take on Southeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Amite County, they will face off against Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
