DSST: Conservatory Green picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 70-61 victory over the Niwot Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Leading DSST: Conservatory Green to victory were Zavier Alexander and Kenny Van. Alexander almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Van posted 17 points along with five assists and three steals. Alexander is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Finn Bradford, who scored 17 points and six boards.

When it comes to explaining why Niwot lost, don't look at Emmett Verhoogen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Elliot Wisecup was another key player, putting up 16 points.

DSST: Conservatory Green has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Niwot, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
