Preview: Case Cardinals vs. Seekonk Warriors
Case has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Seekonk Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Case didn't have too much trouble with Diman RVT on the road as they won 65-47.
Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Seekonk, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past West Bridgewater with a 48-44 victory on Tuesday.
Seekonk can attribute much of their success to Lucas Pereira, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pereira has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Noah Beausoleil, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Case now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Seekonk, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Case came up short against Seekonk in their previous meeting back in February, falling 52-44. Can Case avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
