The Fyffe Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 69-34 win over Victory Christian on the road.
When it comes to explaining why Victory Christian lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Haley Hendrix. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. Hendrix scored a full 58.8% of Victory Christian's points, the 17th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Fyffe's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Victory Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
Fyffe won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gordon Central at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. Gordon Central is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Victory Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Oakman at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
