Herron took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Indianapolis Shortridge, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Achaeans skirted past the Blue Devils 2-1. This was a revenge game for Herron: when they faced off against Indianapolis Shortridge on Monday, they had to take a 7-4 loss.

Gilead Sinsabaugh and Colvin Meek scored both of Herron's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.
