Volleyball Recap: St. Croix Central Comes Up Short

St. Croix Central and Rice Lake squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. Croix Central had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Warriors. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Sedona Gay was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

St. Croix Central now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Rice Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

St. Croix Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rice Lake, they will take on St. Croix Falls on Thursday.
