Basketball Game Preview: Washington Panthers vs. Pekin Dragons

Washington has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Pekin has won ten straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Washington has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three contests.

On Saturday, Washington made easy work of Hersey and carried off a 68-44 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pekin didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Normal University on Monday, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Pekin, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Washington against Pekin when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 60-31 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
