Basketball Recap: Santo Takes a Loss

Santo lost against Slidell back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Santo Wildcats had to suffer through a 86-22 loss at the hands of the Slidell Greyhounds. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Santo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Slidell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Santo will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chico at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
