Game recap: Penns Grove High School Football Team beats Audubon

The scores gave the junior 27 touchdowns for the year.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Nick Elmer in the first quarter, Penns Grove (Carneys Point, N.J.) led 40-0 at the half.

The Red Devils expanded their lead to 56 points entering the fourth quarter. Penns Grove scored four times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Anthony Robertson.

Even though PG led by 56 points entering the fourth quarter, it poured the points on, scoring eight in the fourth.



The Carneys Point school had given up an average of 3.3 points prior to the contest.

In a non-conference game next week Penns Grove (9-0) takes on Pennsville Memorial, and Audubon (4-5) will go up against Haddon Township in a Colonial - Patriot game.
