Basketball Recap: Schaumburg Christian Comes Up Short

Schaumburg Christian lost against Christian Life back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors fell 43-31 to the Christian Life Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Conquerors have lost by exactly 12 points.

When it comes to explaining why Schaumburg Christian lost, don't look at Stephanie Tenuto. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Those 15 points gave Tenuto a new career-high.

Schaumburg Christian dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Christian Life, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schaumburg Christian will host Cristo Rey St. Martin at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Christian Life, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pearl City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
