North Edgecombe is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against SouthWest Edgecombe on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. North Edgecombe took a blow against SouthWest Edgecombe, falling 67-33. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Defeat or not, North Edgecombe got some senior leadership from Jahmir Parker and Zyquarius Cherry. Parker dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards, while Cherry went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Southeast Halifax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-62 heartbreaker at the hands of Howard.

North Edgecombe has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Southeast Halifax, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

North Edgecombe won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in February, slipping by Southeast Halifax 59-58. Will North Edgecombe repeat their success, or does Southeast Halifax have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
