Aiden Tiet leads a balanced attack to beat Highlands

Recap: Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen vs. Highlands Blazers
The Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen won the last time they faced the Highlands Blazers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Garland Christian Academy came out on top against Highlands by a score of 48-41.
Garland Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Tiet out in front who scored 23 points. Tiet hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Caden Sandlin, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Garland Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Highlands, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garland Christian Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Wylie Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Wylie Prep Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Highlands, they will head out on the road to face off against Alcuin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
