Baseball Recap: Tolsia Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Tolsia was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to the St. Joseph Central Irish. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Irish: they've now lost five in a row.

Luke Williamson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Tolsia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for St. Joseph Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Tolsia will welcome Tug Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Poca at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.8 runs per game on average), something the Irish will no doubt try to take advantage of.
