Volleyball Game Preview: Crandon Cardinals vs. Rosholt Hornets

The Crandon Cardinals will head out to challenge the Rosholt Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crandon has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 6th.

Crandon's tournament run continued when they took on Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran on Saturday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Lancers.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hornets on Saturday. Rosholt took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cadott. The loss continues a trend for Rosholt in their meetings with Cadott: they've now lost three in a row.

Rosholt now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Crandon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.

Crandon suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rosholt when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
