After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Skyline, Monroe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Jefferson Bears 48-27. The game marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season.

Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe will take on Bedford in a tournament on Monday. As for Jefferson, they will face off against Airport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
