After soaring to five goals the game before, Croatan was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Richlands Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The loss leaves Croatan still looking for their first win of the season.

Croatan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Richlands, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Croatan wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Cape Fear on the 13th. As for Richlands, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Southwest Onslow on the 11th.
