Mesa Ridge has gone a perfect 3-0 against Palmer Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Mesa Ridge Grizzlies just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Palmer Ridge Bears at 12:00 p.m. Mesa Ridge is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 18 games.

On Friday, Mesa Ridge beat Coronado 50-40. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Cougars are ranked 270th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Palmer Ridge didn't have too much trouble with Air Academy on Thursday as they won 69-53. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Kadets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mesa Ridge better keep an eye on Logan Boyer. He was instrumental in Palmer Ridge's win, going 6-for-12 en route to 19 points. Keegan Mulloy was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Mesa Ridge pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.1 points over those games. As for Palmer Ridge, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Everything came up roses for Mesa Ridge against Palmer Ridge in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-35 victory. In that game, Mesa Ridge amassed a halftime lead of 36-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
