Volleyball Recap: Sullivan Takes a Loss

Sullivan was the 2-1 winner over Effingham when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Redskins fell just short of the Hearts by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sullivan sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 14-25, 25-21.

Sullivan's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-12. As for Effingham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan will challenge Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Effingham, they will be playing at home against Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
