Ukiah won against Montgomery on Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Piner Prospectors 12-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ukiah's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Piner, they moved to 7-8 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Ukiah and Piner will both be playing Elsie Allen the next time they take the field. The Prospectors will host the Lobos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
