Basketball Recap: Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Takes a Loss

Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Coleville Wolves, falling 46-20. The Rams were probably out for revenge after losing 58-33 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coleville found their leader in freshman Kenna Lange, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Lange has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Tovar, who posted eight points and seven steals.

Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage's record now sits at 0-10. As for Coleville, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-8.

While Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
