Captain Shreve had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They never let the Benton Tigers onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Captain Shreve's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Benton, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Captain Shreve will challenge Airline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benton, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Benton face off against the Ouachita Parish at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
