Volleyball Recap: Oregon-Davis Falls Short of Triton in the Playoffs

Oregon-Davis and Triton squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Oregon-Davis had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Among those leading the charge was Sophie Howell, who had five digs and two blocks. Those two blocks gave her a new career-high.

Oregon-Davis has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 6-18 record this season. As for Triton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-11.

Oregon-Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Triton, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Judson-San Pierre on the 18th.
