The Woodlands is hoping to do what Clear Creek couldn't on Friday: put an end to Clear Brook's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Clear Brook strolled past Clear Creek with points to spare, taking the game 64-48. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Wildcats are ranked 399th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Woodlands). They snuck past College Park with an 85-79 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

As for The Woodlands, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8.
