Basketball Recap: Gill St. Bernard's Piles Up the Points Against Phillipsburg

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rutgers Prep, Gill St. Bernard was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Phillipsburg Stateliners, posting a 69-17 win. That's more bragging rights for the Knights , who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gill St. Bernard's now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Phillipsburg, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2.

Gill St. Bernard's and Virginia Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday. Phillipsburg will take on North Hunterdon in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
