Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] lost against Monmouth United back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans fell just short of the Red Storm by a score of 2-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Anna Doubet and Ella Humphrey, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Haylee Bennett and her 19 assists. Finally, Mackenzie Peck kept Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge]'s defeat dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Monmouth United, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 14-18.
