University and Corcoran squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but University had to settle for second. They fell 9-5 to the Panthers. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Jacob Santos was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of David Carrillo, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

University now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Corcoran, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 26-4.

As of now, neither University nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
