Volleyball Recap: Stillwater Comes Up Short

Stillwater saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sloane Rattay paced Stillwater's offense, picking up four kills. Rattay got some help from Lillian Jeffery and her 12 assists. Finally, Jessica Fahlenkamp and Nyla Patterson kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Stillwater's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bishop McGuinness, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Stillwater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Westmoore on the 19th. Bishop McGuinness has also already played their next matchup (against MacArthur), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
